What’s CTET 2025 All About?
For those who don’t know yet, yes, CTET is actually a national-level exam that is organized by CBSE twice a year. Once it happens in July and once in December month too.
On reason why a lot of people prefer to crack this exam is that after passing the CTET, they can also apply to teach at some central government schools like KVS, NVS, and other CBSE-affiliated schools.

Who Can Apply For CTET 2025? (Aka Eligibility Rules)
Well, first of all, there is a bit of good news here, you see, there is no age limit with CTET. But there sure are some other eligibility criteria you must meet. Here:
For Classes 1 to 5 (Paper I):
- First things first, you must have passed your 12th class with at least 50% marks.
- Then, you must have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or similar.
For Classes 6 to 8 (Paper II):
- You must be a graduate; like no matter your stream, you must have completed your graduation.
- And sure enough, with this one as well, you need a 2-year D.El.Ed. or B.Ed.
How To Apply for CTET 2025?
See, it is actually super easy to apply for CTET 2025, and you can do it right away if you know that you’re already eligible to do so. So, here are the steps.
- Well, just like with any other online application form, you must visit the official website of CTET, and that is this one: https://ctet.nic.in/
- See, if the application process has already begun for the 2025 year, then you’ll see an option that says “Apply for CTET July 2025” right on the home screen, so just click on it.
- Next up, all you need to do is just register with your name, mobile number, and email.
- Then? Oh, now’s the time to fill up the application form, so just fill the form with your details and education info.
- And then, you’ll be asked to upload your photo, signature and some other documents (if applicable), so just do that and proceed to the next step.
- What’s next? Oh, now you’d have to pay the application fee, and once you’re done with that, just hit that submit button. That’s pretty much it.

- General/OBC: ₹1000 (₹1200 for the second paper)
